Mass street brawl in Luton leaves several people with stab wounds
Police rush to break up fight involving "large number" of people
A number of people are believed to have been stabbed after a mass street brawl broke out in Luton.
Bedfordshire Police said they had been alerted to a fight in Saxon Road on Sunday evening, and several people were rushed to hospital.
The force tweeted: “We were called to Saxon Road in #Luton after receiving reports of a large number of individuals fighting.
“Emergency services are at the scene and some people have been taken to hospital after reports of stab wounds.”
There was also a report of an acid attack in the town.
One Facebook user posted: “There was an acid attack as well. Luton and Dunstable Hospital had it all this afternoon.”
Anyone who saw the fight has been asked to call 101, quoting incident 299.
