Ten-year-old boy who died at home was murdered, police say
A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident

The death of a 10-year-old boy in a house in Scotland is being treated as murder, police said.
Officers discovered the body of Kane Morris at a property in Coupar Angus, central Scotland, in the early hours of Sunday.
An eight-year-old girl, who also suffered life-threatening injuries during the incident, remains in hospital in a critical, but stable condition.
A 37-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the death.
Two potential witnesses, who passed the property around the time of the incident, came forward following a police appeal.
Detective Inspector Ross Fitzgerald from the forces major investigation team said: “Our inquiries remain ongoing in order for us to establish the full circumstances of what happened and we continue to urge anyone who hasn’t spoken to us already to do so.”
He added local officers will be conducting additional patrols over the next few days as the investigation continues.
Kane’s family released a statement describing him as “a popular young boy” who was “full of energy and loved dearly by all.”
The local community has since started raising cash in a bid to offer them financial support in the wake of Kane’s death.
“I don’t know Kane but like most of the Perthshire community I have been moved and shocked by the death of this wee lad,” a message on the Go Fund Me campaign started by Rachel Linney reads.
“I can’t imagine what his family are going through at this terrible time.”
Floral tributes and teddy bears were also left to honour the youngster as his classmates returned to Coupar Angus Primary School.
