The former rockstar is serving 35 years in jail for child sex crimes

Ian Watkins reportedly “groomed” a two-year-old girl's mother from behind bars.

The 40-year-old former rockstar apparently joked with the 21-year-old about her toddler seeing her have sex.

Watkins, who is serving 35 years behind bars for child sex crimes, including planning to rape a baby, is believed to have been writing to the woman who has been a fan of his since she was 16.

She has visited him at the high-security Wakefield Jail and he has apparently told her he loves her and asked her to wear an engagement ring, according to The Sun.

The mother apparently told a friend that she would not let Watkins near her daughter but regardless her child has been taken into care and her mobile phone and laptop have been taken away.

A spokesman for the NSPCC responded to the story and said: “This is an absolute shambles. We’re sickened. It’s utterly bewildering that he could carry on grooming.

“It shows contempt for children he abused, and raises serious questions about supervision,” the statement added.
