Three men shot in street in north London
Police say shooting took place in Hackney
Three men have been shot in north London, leaving one with life-threatening injuries.
The victims were found with gunshot wounds on Homerton High Street in Hackney on Sunday night.
A 24-year-old man is in a life-threatening condition in hospital, police said, while the other victims, aged 32 and 60, were being treated for less serious injuries.
Officers were called to reports of a shooting at around 10.50pm on Sunday. They found the three injured men on arrival.
There had been no arrests as of Monday.
A crime scene remained in place, and the Metropolitan Police said they will step up their presence in the area.
The Met have appealed for witnesses to the shooting or people who saw anything suspicious in the area to come forward to help with the investigation.
