Greenwich stabbing: Investigation launched after teenager dies in southeast London

No arrests made after 18-year-old man becomes capital's latest victim

A teenager has died after a stabbing in southeast London.

Police were called to a report of a disturbance in Armitage Road, Greenwich, on Monday at 9.25pm, Scotland Yard said.

Officers found an 18-year-old man suffering from a stab injury.

The London Ambulance Service were called and the man was pronounced dead at the scene at 10.03pm.

Police said officers are in the process of informing his next of kin.

Formal identification has not yet taken place and a post-mortem examination will be held in due course.

The Homicide and Major Crime Command have been informed, and a crime scene is in place.

No arrests were made.
