'Good Samaritan' rapist due to be sentenced
A bogus good samaritan, who turned a lift home into a nightmare rape ordeal for a teenager, is due to be sentenced today.
Helped by an unidentified accomplice, Kazimierz Sadowski first tore off her underwear before forcing himself upon the "terrified" 19-year-old.
Once he had finished with his screaming victim, his partner-in-crime took his place.
Not long afterwards the defendant attacked her again.
After two failed escape attempts, they eventually released their victim near her west London home.
Southwark Crown Court heard despite the recovery of DNA evidence after the 1999 attack, Sadowski remained free until last year when he was stopped for drink-driving and a match obtained.
The 32-year-old, of Essex Road, Barking, Essex, who denied "forcing any woman to have sex", was convicted of three counts of rape and two indecent assaults.
