Officers appeal for witnesses following fatal stabbing in west London
Police have launched a murder investigation after a man died in a stabbing in west London.
Scotland Yard said officers were called to reports of a fight on Gowan Avenue, Fulham, at 12.27am on Saturday.
The victim, who is believed to be 29, was found suffering from stab wounds.
He was tended to by members of the public before paramedics and police arrived, but was pronounced dead at the scene just before 1am.

The Met Police said officers have informed the man’s next of kin and that the Homicide and Major Crime Command have been notified.
The stabbing took place on the same street where journalist Jill Dando was shot dead 20 years ago.
The investigation is the 27th murder inquiry to be launched in London this year and the man is the 18th victim to have been fatally stabbed.
A Met Police spokesperson said: “A murder investigation has been launched and police are urging witnesses and those with information to get in touch with investigators.
