Enfield stabbing: Man ‘fighting for life after horrific attack’ in north London, say police
Three men - aged 24, 26 and 27 - arrested at scene on suspicion of attempted murder
A 25-year-old man is "fighting for his life" after a "horrific attack", according to police.
Scotland Yard said Dominic Alexander, of Enfield, north London, remains in a critical condition in hospital after he was found with stab injuries in Green Street in the early hours of Tuesday.
Police were called to reports of people fighting and found Mr Alexander.
He was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to hospital. His family have been informed.
Officers arrested three men - aged 24, 26 and 27 - at the scene on suspicion of attempted murder and they have now been bailed to return on a date in late March.
It is believed Mr Alexander was attacked after a dispute near the Sporting Green Public House at Central Parade in Enfield but police are keeping an open mind about the motive.
Detective Chief Inspector John Massey said: "We would also appeal for anyone who saw anything take place shortly after half past midnight on Monday night into Tuesday morning at or near to Central Parade, or saw any arguments earlier in the evening inside the Sporting Green pub, to come forward as soon as possible.
"This was a horrific attack on a young man who has been left with very serious injuries and is fighting for his life in hospital.
