Edmonton stabbing: Man killed in London street attack
Killing comes less than 24 hours after man died from stab wounds in Lewisham
A 29-year-old man has been stabbed to death on a street in north London.
The Metropolitan Police said officers found the man with serious stab injuries on Houndsfield Road, Edmonton just after 8.10pm on Saturday.
Ambulance services were called but the man died at the scene shortly after 9pm.
A 40-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody.
It comes less than 24 hours after a 34-year-old man died in hospital on Saturday after suffering stab wounds during an incident at a southeast London chicken shop.
Two men suffered head injuries and stab wounds following a fight at the premises on Downham Way, Lewisham on Friday night.
On the stabbing in Edmonton on Saturday evening, police said: “At this early stage, urgent enquiries are under way to establish the circumstances.”

The victim’s family has not yet been informed and enquiries are ongoing to establish his identity.
