Delivery driver who wore crotchless trousers, see-through tights and see-through shorts jailed for flashing despite claiming he is just a naturist
Flasher given two year sentence for approaching customers in clothes that left him ‘deliberately exposed’
A man who wore custom made clothing which allowed him to flash others in public has been jailed.
Robert Jenner was repeatedly caught exposing himself, including incidents where he wore crotchless trousers in a supermarket, "see-through tights" in shops and "see-through shorts" in a park frequented by families.
While working as a delivery driver between 7 and 13 December 2017, the 44-year-old approached customers wearing clothing which left him "deliberately exposed", a police officer said.
On Thursday Mr Jenner was sentenced at Canterbury Crown Court, to two years in prison after being found guilty of 10 counts of indecent exposure during a trial.
A jury failed to reach a verdict on an eleventh charge.
"Jenner claimed he was simply a naturist and would argue there was nothing wrong with his behaviour," said Robert Fagg, an officer with Kent Police.
"The reality is that he manipulated and altered clothing to deliberately expose himself.
"When working as a delivery driver he would ensure he was exposed whilst asking customers to sign for parcels.
"His intention to shock and provoke has also been repeatedly demonstrated in a supermarket as well as locations where there would have been children."
The 44-year-old has been added to the sex offenders' register for 10 years.
He has also been made subject to a criminal behaviour order for seven years.
