Three men have been injured in a suspected shooting at a car wash, police said.

Police were called to Railway Street in Gillingham, Kent, at about 12.30pm yesterday following a report that three men had been hurt. One sustained a serious injury to his leg, Kent Police said. The two other have been treated for injuries not thought to be serious.

A police spokesman said: "Police are investigating the possibility that a firearm was used and are conducting a search for two men who are reported to have been in the area when the men were injured."
