Man arrested after two people found dead following 'altercation' at house in Canterbury
A further two people are receiving treatment for injuries in hospital
A man has been arrested after two people were found dead following an "altercation" at a home in Kent, police have said.
Kent Police officers were called to a residential property on Dickens Avenue, Canterbury at 7.39pm on Tuesday.
A further two people are receiving treatment for injuries in hospital.
Detectives from the Kent and Essex Serious Crime Directorate are investigating how the victims died and are searching the scene.
Neighbour, Zoe Jones, 44, told Kent Online: This sort of thing doesn't usually happen around here.
"Sometimes you get the odd tiff and the police come to sort it out but I've never seen anything like this. "I'm just concerned for the people involved."
A Kent Police spokeswoman said they believe the victims and the man arrested at the scene were known to each other.
Police are yet to identify the dead people and are in the process of informing the next of kin.
