Boy, 11, questioned over firearm
An 11-year-old boy has become one of Scotland Yard's youngest gun crime suspects.
The schoolboy remains on bail after being questioned over a firearm by the Metropolitan Police last year.
A police spokesman said he was believed to be one of the youngest suspects arrested in relation to the offence.
The force has embarked on a string of campaigns to cut gun crime in London.
A message on the Met's website tells youngsters: "Guns and knives are not cool; they do not command respect and you cannot carry a gun or a knife as an excuse to protect yourself."
Police were unable to provide any further details surrounding the arrest.
