A 15-year-old girl has been reported missing after she failed to come home after attending a party with friends.

Beth Brown, from Brighton, was last seen when she left her home around midday on her way to the party in a suburb of the city.

Sussex Police said the teenager was supposed to stay the night but never returned home the following morning.

Detectives believe the party finished earlier and Beth left with three boys.

She was then seen on a bus in Brighton around 6pm and at a house also in the city that evening. She may then have travelled north to London, in particular the Mitcham area, a police statement said.

“There are concerns for her safety due to her age and police want to hear form anyone who may have seen her or who knows of her whereabouts.”

Beth is white, five foot two inches tall, and has a slim build, with red-brown long straight hair.

When she disappeared, she was wearing a tight black dress, black trainers and a short grey fluffy jacket.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Sussex Police by calling 101 and quoting the reference Serial 88 of 12/05.
