Battersea car attack: Seven injured after vehicle driven into crowd of people in southwest London
Incident came after police were called to reports of fight outside hotel
Three people have been arrested in suspicion of attempted murder after a car was driven into a group of people in southwest London on Saturday night, police said.
Police said they had been called at 11.15pm to reports of a fight outside a hotel on Lombard Road, Battersea, before the incident happened.
Four people were also arrested for affray following the incident.
One man suffered a broken leg and six other people had minor injuries.
The incident is not terrorism-related, police said, with a crime scene established and enquiries are continuing.
Photographs show car parts and a wrecked bicycle strewn across the area where the car hit the group, and behind, the remains of the 4x4 vehicle were embedded into a wall with its bonnet ripped in half by the impact.
Over a dozen police vehicles attended the scene and the road was cordoned off.
