Turkish business tycoon Asil Nadir today denied the theft of £33.1 million from the firm Polly Peck in the 1980s.
Nadir, 70, appeared at the Old Bailey and entered not guilty pleas to 13 counts.
They relate to the alleged theft of £33.1 million and 2.5 million US dollars from Polly Peck between 1987 and 1990.
Nadir, of Belgravia, central London, was allowed to remain in the well of the court as he entered his pleas.
He was due to face trial today but that has been delayed.
Nadir remains on conditional bail.
