15 years for man who raped 10-year-old girl
A married father of one who repeatedly raped a 10-year-old girl then tried to blame her for what happened was jailed for 15 years today.
Train cleaner Osman Osman began assaulting his victim while his wife and child were away on holiday, the Old Bailey heard.
Judge Peter Rook told the 28-year-old, originally from Turkey, that he "took advantage of a child's naivety".
Osman, formerly of Rainham, Essex, was found guilty of three counts of rape between August and November last year.
A report found he posed a high risk to children, based on his attempts to "minimise" what he had done and to blame the girl for it.
The judge said: "These are grave crimes and it has to be a long sentence."
