Court to be asked to uphold commandment

On Friday, a campaigner against Sunday shopping will ask the High Court to block the Sunday Trading Bill on the basis that it breaches the Fourth Commandment in the Bible. Roy Edey, a retired solicitor's clerk from Harrow on the Hill, north-west London, argues The Queen could not approve any legislation because such a move would conflict with her position as head of the Church of England.
