Foster carers to receive daffodils to mark Mother’s Day
The blooms were grown by a father and daughter in Cornwall.

Your support makes all the difference.Foster carers across England and Scotland will receive bouquets of daffodils in the lead-up to Mother’s Day to recognise the contribution they make to children’s lives.
The flowers, which represent new beginnings, have been hand-picked by father and daughter Reuben and Harriet Curnow at Nanfan Farm in Cornwall.
There are 94 acres of field devoted to growing daffodils on the farm in the hamlet of Churchtown in Cury, near Helston, which overlooks the sea.
Bouquets of 30 daffodil stems, arranged by Cornish Blooms, are being presented to nearly 200 foster carers who are part of Swiis Foster Care.
Tim Notchell, company director at Swiis Foster Care, said: “As we approach this special day, Swiis Foster Care would like to reflect on the remarkable commitment and compassion of our foster carers. We are immensely grateful every day for their dedication to the children and young people they look after.
“Today we would like to extend our sincere thanks and celebrate all foster carers across the UK for helping to improve the life of so many children and young people in care.”
