London fire fighters are battling to control the flames from a flat in Clapham High street on Tuesday.

London Fire Brigade (LFB) responded to several calls at around 1.30pm on Tuesday after onlookers saw smoke billowing above the busy high street in West London.

Four fire engines, two from Clapham and two from Brixton, and twenty fire fighters are reported to have attended the scene on the first floor above the Clapham Mini Cabs office.

The cause of the fire remains unknown, but there are not believed to have been any injuries.
