Boy 14, 'tried to kill'

A 14-year-old boy was convicted of indecent assault and attempted murder for trying to kill his 10-year-old cousin. The girl told Leicester Crown Court he lured her into a field and strangled her until she passed out. When she came round she had been sexually abused. Neither can be named.
