Police are hunting a gang which kidnapped a postmistress at gunpoint at her home in Keynsham, near Bristol, drove her in her car to the post office she runs in Bristol and forced her to open a safe. The masked gang terrorised the 75-year-old woman for several hours before she opened the safe and the three men fled with pounds 5,000 and her Ford Fiesta. She managed to raise the alarm and was treated in hospital for shock.
