1m pounds birth damages

The High Court in Manchester awarded Vicky Farrell, six, pounds 1m damages against Central Manchester Health Authority, which admitted liability for brain damage caused to her at birth when St Mary's Hospital failed to carry out a Caesarean section on her mother, Shirley.
