Turkey's pounds 56m aid to Kurd region

BULENT ECEVIT, the Turkish Prime Minister, unveiled details of a pounds 56m economic development plan for the south-east where Kurds are concentrated. Since the capture of the Kurdish rebel leader Abdullah Ocalan last month, the government has stressed the need for development.
