Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini described the dramatic 94th minute winner over Queen's Park Rangers scored by Sergio Aguero, which sealed the club's first top-flight league title in 44 years, as "a crazy finish for a crazy season". He added: "I have never seen a final day like this. The best team won the title." Their neighbours, Manchester United, finished second on goal difference, after they won 1-0 at Sunderland. QPR stayed up despite the defeat, as Bolton drew 2-2 at Stoke to join the already-relegated Blackburn Rovers and Wolves in the Championship next season. MORE

Three errors from West Bromwich goalkeeper Marton Fulop gifted Arsenal a 3-2 win at the Hawthorns, a result that guarantees the Gunners Champions League football next season ahead of Tottenham, who won 2-0 at home to Fulham. MORE
Real top 100 points to end on a high
La Liga winners Real Madrid ended the season by becoming the first Spanish side to reach 100 points in a top-flight season after beating Mallorca 4-1. In Serie A, winners Juventus finished unbeaten, while Inter failed to qualify for the Champions League.
Green promises no more Rangers debt
Venture capitalist Charles Green has vowed that Rangers "will never have debts again" should his consortium's proposed takeover bid go through. Despite having potential debts of £134m, Green has insisted that they "wouldn't be selling players to raise finance".
Cheltenham edge play-off semi-final
Cheltenham took a big step to the League Two play-off final with a 2-0 home win over Torquay. In the other semi-final on Saturday, Crewe edged Southend 1-0, while in the League One play-off semi- final Huddersfield clinched a deserved 2-0 victory at MK Dons.
Bairstow called up to face Windies
Jonny Bairstow has been selected to play in his first Test for England in the opening match of the series against West Indies, which begins at Lord's on Thursday. The 22-year-old edged out James Taylor after Ravi Bopara injured his thigh on Friday. MORE

Nineteen-year-old George Ford kicked 14 points to lead Leicester Tigers past Saracens with a 24-15 win and set up the Midlands club's eight successive Premiership final appearance. Their opponents are Harlequins, who beat Northampton 25-23 on Saturday. MORE
Maldonado seals shock win in Spain
Pastor Maldonado secured a surprise victory for Williams in the Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona. The win was marred by a serious fire which broke out in the Williams garage after the race. Four team members were treated for unspecified injuries. MORE
