A dental nurse yesterday told of a stalker's "terrifying" campaign which left her in fear of her life. Perry Southall, 20, told Southwark Crown Court that Clarence Morris, of Poplar, east London, sent her bottles of champagne, but also twice threatened her with an axe-like weapon in a car park.

He denies causing actual bodily harm and a further count of common assault. The trial continues.
