Security firm to recruit car thief

A leading vehicle security firm is trying to recruit a car thief to provide it with expert knowledge on how to stop car crime.

Toad Innovations has placed advertisements in newspapers across Britain offering work to a "top-line former criminal" with a CV which includes at least one relevant conviction. But the company says the successful applicant must be back on the "straight and narrow". It is seeking advice on its security devices, including an electronic tracking system for stolen vehicles.
