Your support makes all the difference.THE paymaster general, Geoffrey Robinson, ran the UK arm of a Swiss company that made equipment used by Iraq in its nuclear weapons programme,Sunday Business newspaper claims today. The report said Saddam Hussein has been developing nuclear weapons with technology provided by the company. Treasury sources have previously denied any substance to Mr Robinson's links with theSwiss operation.
Mr Robinson, who worked on a Treasury team on a crackdown on the offshore finance industry, recently faced criticism after it emerged he was the beneficiary of an offshore trust.
