Two Russians and a Frenchman blasted off yesterday evening for the Mir space station, where they expect to work on at least two repair jobs that previous crews have been unable to fix.
Meanwhile, the US space shuttle Endeavour, which was attached to the Mir for five days, was set to undock later yesterday evening and head back to Earth. Its crew includes David Wolf, an American who just completed four months on the Russian space station. - AP, Baikonur
