X Factor's Ella Henderson's father charged with fraud

Ella Henderson’s father has been charged with seven offences relating to fraud, theft and money laundering.
Sean Henderson, who previously managed the X Factor contestant, was released on bail and is due to appear before Sheffield Magistrates’ court on 8 July.
Humberside Police said that three further individuals were also charged earlier this week.
Ms Henderson, 19, currently on tour with Take That having been signed by Simon Cowell’s record label, reportedly told The Sun she was “devastated” after learning of the charges, following a two year probe into Mr Henderson's finances.
In April 2013 officers raided her parent’s home near Grimsby in Tetney, North East Lincolnshire, as well as another property the couple owned nearby.
Mr Henderson’s wife Michelle, 51, was initially arrested in connection with the probe but it is understood that she will not be facing charges.
A police spokesperson said in a statement: “A 49-year-old man from Tetney has today been charged with seven offences relating to fraud, theft and money laundering.
“He has been released on bail to appear at Sheffield Magistrates Court on Wednesday July 8.
“Three other people have also been charged today with related offences and a fifth will be charged later this week.”
A representative for Ella Henderson did not respond to requests for comment.
