After leaving personal bequests of pounds 145,000, her home and certain securities, she left the residue equally between the Bolton Lad's Club, Bolton Hospice, the Destitute Animals Shelter, Bolton, RSPCA, PDSA, the Bleakholt Animal Sanctuary, Shuttleworth, RSPC, Salvation Army, RNLI, International Fund for Animal Welfare, Donkey Sanctuary, Sidmouth, St Dunstan's and Barnardo's.
Miss Ada Taylor, of Bebington, Merseyside, left estate valued at pounds 220,934 net. After personal bequests of pounds 15,000, she left the residue to the Guild of Benevolence of the Institute of Marine Engineers.
