The crash took place over the weekend and left the car so badly damaged a specialist mechanic had to attend the Queen’s estate to repair it, according to an unconfirmed report by The Mirror.
The crash took place on the same weekend the Duchess of Cambridge’s family were visiting at the estate. Prince Charles was on a break from official duties.
A spokesman for Clarence House said it could not comment on something that took place in his private time.
