Paul Walker dead: Meadow shares moving black-and-white image of father, as Fast & Furious star’s team combats fake imposters
Paul Walker’s tragic death touched many different people in many different ways.
But few could have predicted the attention his untimely passing would have afforded his 15-year-old daughter Meadow, who has been forced to set up numerous ‘official’ social media accounts in order to “combat the imposter profiles that are constantly created”, a post from her father’s former publicity team explained.
“We have launched three official profiles for Paul Walker‘s daughter,” the message on Walker’s Facebook page read.
“Any other profiles you may find on social networks are not associated with Meadow or Paul. – Team PW.”
And it’s fair to say that her first post was a popular one, allowing her to establish an online presence almost straight away by sharing a moving black and white image of herself and her father.
Paul Walker famously left his entire $25 million (£16million) estate to Meadow, who is currently under the guardianship of his mother Cheryl. Meadow’s mother, Rebecca Soteros, is expected to resume her care of Meadow after she “agreed to go to rehab” for a “serious drinking problem” recently.
Meadow shares the pictures as her uncles, Walker’s brothers Caleb and Cody, arrived on the set of Fast & Furious 7 to film his final, unfinished scenes.
A tribute was paid to the star at the MTV Movie Awards in Los Angeles on Sunday 13 April. During the segment, his co-stars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster spoke about their fond memories of the star.
“He never asked for credit or glory,” Brewster said. “He was just a really good guy. His charm, wit, spirit and his beautiful smile will live because he will always be in our hearts and he will remain an inspiration to live life to the fullest.”
The tribute ended with a quote from Paul Walker, which read: “When you put good will out there it’s amazing what can be accomplished.”
