P Diddy arrested after 'fight with son's football coach' involving kettlebell on UCLA campus
The rapper, real name Sean Combs, was charged with assault with a deadly weapon

Sean “P Diddy” Combs has been arrested and charged with assault with a deadly weapon after a fight reportedly broke out between the rapper and his son’s football coach in Los Angeles.
Combs, 45, was arrested following an incident involving a kettlebell – a weight with a handle – which police classified as a deadly weapon, University of California Los Angeles (UCLA) campus police said in a statement.
Combs was taken to the jail on the west Lost Angeles college campus and was later released after posting bail, jail records showed.
According to TMZ, the rapper had a disagreement with one of his son’s coaches. Justin Combs is on the college football team on a scholarship.
A source told the website the coach “was riding Justin, screaming intensely at him,” which Combs witnessed, before reportedly confronting the coach later on.
The publication reports that Combs told police he was holding the kettlebell in self-defence, according to a source.
“This is an unfortunate incident for all parties involved. While UCPD continues to review this matter, we will let the legal process run its course and refrain from further commitment at this time,” Jim Mora, UCLA’s football coach, said in a statement.
