Developed pioneering ways to combine information from navy archives with underwater diving techniques, and located shipwrecks including the 17th-century warship Vasa and the 16th-century Lybska Svan.
Anthony Prince, taxing officer, died 25 October, aged 72. Founder of C. Anthony Prince and Co in 1952, founding Chairman of the Ealing Family Housing Association in 1963, member of Number 1 and Number 14 Legal Aid Area Committee 1966-71, and Taxing Master of the Supreme Court 1983-93.
