Finalists from this year's series are performing at the Cardiff International Arena - but Boyle, 48, will be taking another "rest day" a spokeswoman for the tour said.
Boyle, from Blackburn, West Lothian, has already pulled out of playing Manchester last Sunday and another date in Liverpool last night.
According to The Mirror, Boyle repeatedly asked for her cat Pebbles at her hotel in Liverpool yesterday.
The tour spokeswoman said it was not known when Boyle would return, adding that organisers received updates on a daily basis.
The star has gone down a storm at the gigs where she has performed.
Taking to the stage in front of home fans in Glasgow on Monday, the plucky church worker wowed the crowds as she belted out I Dreamed a Dream, the song which made her a global superstar.
