David Gandy: I would never agree to CBB
Your support helps us to tell the story
From reproductive rights to climate change to Big Tech, The Independent is on the ground when the story is developing. Whether it's investigating the financials of Elon Musk's pro-Trump PAC or producing our latest documentary, 'The A Word', which shines a light on the American women fighting for reproductive rights, we know how important it is to parse out the facts from the messaging.
At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.
The Independent is trusted by Americans across the entire political spectrum. And unlike many other quality news outlets, we choose not to lock Americans out of our reporting and analysis with paywalls. We believe quality journalism should be available to everyone, paid for by those who can afford it.

The 31-year-old model - who was rumoured to be entering the infamous house when the fly-on-the wall series re-launched on Channel 5 last Thursday - admitted he had no intention of appearing on the show, and has "no idea" who fellow model contestant Bobby Sabel even is.
Speaking in the Virgin Media Louder Lounge at V Festival in Chelmsford, Essex, on Saturday (20.08.11), he exclusively told BANG Showbiz: "I was never going to be in it. People saw that there was a male model and automatically assumed it would be me, but I would never have agreed to do that.
"I'm not going to lie, I have no idea who that Bobby guy even is!"
Despite not being keen to appear on 'Celebrity Big Brother', David and his girlfriend, The Saturdays' Mollie King, are reportedly being lined up to feature on 'I'm A Celebrity ... Get Me Out Of Here' when it returns to screens later this year.
An insider told the Daily Star newspaper: "These two certainly would make the jungle a lot more attractive. David has been voted one of the best dressed men in Britain and women swoon over him. And Mollie is used to looking glam and has the fellas panting.
"So it will be a real change for them to get down, dirty and sweaty in the Aussie bush. They're very tempted."
