At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Your support makes all the difference.Kristen Stewart’s mother has reportedly revealed her daughter is in a relationship with a woman.
Jules Stewart, 55, allegedly told the Sunday Mirror that her daughter was seeing her personal assistant Alicia Cargile.
Shortly after the interview – in which Mrs Stewart also discusses her own charitable work with wolves – she denied the claims, telling US Weekly that she “never ever” discussed Kristen.
In the original interview, Mrs Stewart said: “What’s not to be accepting about her now having a girlfriend? She’s happy.
“She’s my daughter, I’m just her mom so she knows I would accept her choices.”
Ms Cargile, who is presently working as Ms Stewart’s personal assistant, also works as a visual effects and film producer.
“I’ve met Kristen’s new girlfriend, I like her. What’s not to accept? She’s a lovely girl,” Mrs Stewart added.
Stewart’s mother, who works as a Hollywood script supervisor, also emphasised her support for the LGBT community, telling the Sunday Mirror reporter: “we are all free to choose who we want to love.”
Ms Stewart, 25, found fame as Bella in the blockbuster Twilight series, starring alongside then-boyfriend Robert Pattinson. Huge public interest and pressure on the couple – alongside Ms Stewart’s exposed indiscretions – led to a permanent split in 2012.
