At such a critical moment in US history, we need reporters on the ground. Your donation allows us to keep sending journalists to speak to both sides of the story.

Michael Sacha, 30, was reportedly found by Rock and a friend lying down on the side of a driveway of the singer’s Nashville property on Monday after crashing a quad bike, reports The Tennessean. He was on his way back to the house after driving two people on the ATV to meet an Uber driver at midnight.
A spokesperson for the Nashville fire department told the local paper Mr Sacha was dead by the time they arrived.
The police department said on Twitter on Monday that the death was accidental.
Issuing a statement on his website, the "All Summer Long singer" said he is “beyond devastated” at Mr Sacha’s passing.
“He was a member of our family and one of the greatest young men I have ever had the pleasure to not only work with, but also to become friends with,” the 45-year-old wrote.
“Myself, the band, our family, friends and co-workers are devastated over this loss. We were supposed to be back in Michigan today, but I am going to stay here with Mike until I can bring him home to his family.”
Rock asked for Mr Sacha’s family’s privacy to be respected and ended: “RIP Mike. We will never forget you, my friend.”
