The pop star has been accused of delving into a woman’s bag and taking her mobile phone in an attempt to remove pictures which he believed she had taken of him.
The alleged incident took place in a golf course in California.
The unnamed woman, who was with her 13-year-old daughter at the time, spotted Bieber in an altercation with members of staff and took her phone out to take pictures.
This riled the 20-year-old, who demanded that she hand over the phone so that he could erase any shots. She refused, so he allegedly then grabbed it from within her bag.
According to TMZ, the pair began “wrestling”, but despite Bieber’s fervent efforts, he still couldn't delete the images as the woman’s phone was locked.
He returned the phone and asked that she show him the pictures immediately – which she did, proving that there were none taken in the first place.
This seemingly enraged the irritating singer further and he got so angry he made the 13-year-old cry.
“You're humiliating yourself in front of your daughter,” he told her. "Why don't you just get out of here?”
Apparently, he then re-targeted his fury elsewhere and started “screaming at someone else”. Police are currently investigating the incident.
“As of right now, no arrest has been made and detectives are currently interviewing the victim,” said police.
This is just one of many difficulties Bieber has come across this year – having been arrested for drink-driving in Miami in January (the trial starts in July); investigated by police for apparently throwing eggs at a neighbour’s house in March; publicly shouted at by a family friend for being a ‘little p***k’ after misbehaving in a supermarket in April; before going onto offend Chinese and South Korean fans for visiting a Japanese shrine, honouring WWII criminals, later that month.
Also in April, he was detained at Los Angeles Airport, but was unfortunately released hours later. On Sunday, he was booed at a basketball game in LA.
