Sally Bercow's marriage to Commons Speaker 'in jeopardy' after she is reportedly accused of having an affair with his cousin
'Is he a forgiving man? Very. But I'm not sure I want to be forgiven,' Sally Bercow said of her husband

Commons Speaker John Bercow’s marriage is said to be in jeopardy after his wife was reportedly accused of having an affair with his cousin.
Sally Bercow is said to have started a relationship with Alan Bercow, a lawyer, at the start of the election campaign, with the two said to share a mutual appreciation of fine wine, according to The Mail On Sunday.
However it is understood that after a series of arguments between Alan and Sally the affair is now over.
Mrs Bercow apparently told The Telegraph her marriage is in difficulties, primarily because of living in Parliament which she said she hates.

She said she would understand if her husband decided he had had enough, adding: “He’s a good man and he’s sucked it up enough in some respects.”
Speaking about her husband, Mrs Bercow added: “I'm saying he's a great dad and a great speaker. Am I a good wife? I'm a terrible wife. I'm a terrible wife. I always have been. If I was John I wouldn't put up with me.
“I'm not even confirming that I've had an affair with the cousin. I'm not even talking about it. I'm not even talking about personal matters, not even going to talk about it. I don't think it's relevant.
His wife, Erica, insisted that her marriage was solid. Apparently confirming that the affair had taken place, she said: “We are very much together and that’s all I want to say.”
