While interviewing New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie (R) on Monday about Christie's presidential run, Jimmy Fallon couldn't resist making a sly comment about Christie's penchant for ice cream.
Christie immediately got up and left the stage of NBC's "The Tonight Show," throwing his arms in the air and wishing the crowd goodnight. Of course, he couldn't help but crack a smile while executing what seemed to be a planned bit.
After some "pleading" by Fallon, the governor came back, still suppressing a smile.
"If I ever leave public life," Christie said, "you're going to have to hire two writers just to replace the garbage you say about me."
