Mark Salling was arrested on Tuesday for possession of child pornography (as defined by the US justice system).
The Los Angeles Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force obtained a search warrant to search the former “Glee” star’s home, Variety reports.
Law enforcement officers seized all electronic devices at the 33-year-old actor's Sunland home. Officials told TMZ that they've seen more than one thousand images of "child sexual exploitation" on Salling's computer.
Salling was booked at 9:47am and his bail was set at $20,000.
Earlier this year, Salling was involved in an lawsuit for allegedly pushing his former girlfriend Roxanne Gorzela.
Despite maintaining his innocence, the actor was forced to pay Gorzela $2.7 million worth of damages.
