BUCKINGHAM PALACE

5 October: The Prince Edward, Chairman of the International Council of The Duke of Edinburgh's Award International Association, this afternoon attended a meeting of the Confederation of Indian Industry at St James Court Hotel, Buckingham Gate, London SW1.

Lieutenant-Colonel Sean O'Dwyer was in attendance.

5 October: The Princess Royal this morning visited Land Rover in Solihull and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for West Midlands (Mr Robert Taylor).

The Honourable Mrs Legge-Bourke was in attendance.

Her Royal Highness, Master, the Worshipful Company of Woolmen, this evening attended the Annual Church Service at St Michael's Church, Cornhill, London EC3, followed by a Supper at the City of London Club, Old Broad Street, London EC2.

The Countess of Lichfield was in attendance.

KENSINGTON PALACE

5 October: The Princess of Wales, Patron, the Malcolm Sargent Cancer Fund for Children, this morning received Miss Sylvia Darnley (Chief Executive).

ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Princess Royal, President of Patrons, Crime Concern, attends a meeting of the Children and Young Persons' Special Interest Group of Grant-giving Trust at the Coram Foundation, London WC1; and as President, The Princess Royal Trust for Carers, attends a dinner at Post Office Headquarters, London EC1. The Duchess of Gloucester attends the Midland Diamonds Awards Luncheon at the Grand Hotel, Birmingham.

The Queen's Gallery

The Queen's Gallery at Buckingham Palace opens between 10am and 5pm, and last admission is at 4.30pm.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.
