16 January: Divine Service was held in Sandringham Parish Church this morning.

The Bishop of Ely preached the Sermon.

Mr RA Potts (Headteacher of St George's Church of England VC Middle School, Dersingham) was received by The Queen when Her Majesty presented a Bible to Miss Victoria Vernall for proficiency in Religious Instruction.

Mrs Annabelle Galletley was received by The Queen when Her Majesty invested her with the Insignia of a Member of the Royal Victorian Order.

BUCKINGHAM PALACE

15 January: The Princess Royal, Patron, Scottish Rugby Union, accompanied by Commander Timothy Laurence RN, this afternoon attended the Wales versus Scotland Rugby International Match, Cardiff Arms Park, Cardiff, and was received by Her Majesty's Lord-Lieutenant for South Glamorgan (Captain Norman Lloyd-Edwards RNR).

16 January: The Princess Royal, accompanied by Commander Timothy Laurence RN, this afternoon attended a Special Constabulary Book of Remembrance Service in Coventry and was received by Her Majesty's Lord- Lieutenant for West Midlands (Mr Robert Taylor).

ROYAL ENGAGEMENTS

The Prince of Wales, Honorary Commodore, HM Coastguard Service, visits the Aberdeen Coastguard at Blaikies Quay, Aberdeen.

Changing of the Guard

The Household Cavalry Mounted Regiment mounts the Queen's Life Guard at Horse Guards, 11am.

Windsor Castle

The Precincts at Windsor Castle open between 10am and 4pm, and the State Apartments between 10.30am and 3pm.
