Ryan Thomas has reportedly been arrested following an altercation in a pub.

The Coronation Street actor was at the Wheelhouse Club and Lounge, Bowness-on-Windermere in the Lake District on Saturday night when a fight broke out in the toilets, the Mirror reports.

A witness said “four or five” police vans attended the scene and, it is claimed, Thomas, who plays the builder Jason Grimshaw in the soap, was taken to Kendal Police Station.

A spokesperson for Cumbria Police said: “Officers arrested a 31-year-old man on suspicion of being drunk and disorderly.”

A spokesperson for Thomas declined to comment.
