It’s also the question on the lips of Cheryl Fernandez-Versini's waxwork sculptors, who are keen to keep an eye on the singer’s rumoured tattoo removals as they unveil the figure’s new look.
It seems every time Madame Tussauds updates the artist’s static equivalent she makes drastic changes to her appearance that render the waxwork slightly outdated.
Fortunately, the London attraction is hot on her (high) heels following claims by a so-called ‘source’ that Cheryl is heading for the laser.
Madame Tussauds has reinvigorated Cheryl, restyling her with an “understatedly chic skinny leather trouser and sleeveless metallic tunic top combination teamed with the obligatory killer heels,” the museum said.
A spokeswoman also confirmed that they will update the fibreglass and wax figure in the future “if she has another change of style or changes her hair/tattoos etc.”
Newlywed Cheryl is reportedly considering removing her “Mrs C” tattoo on the back of her neck following her recent marriage to French restaurateur Jean-Bernard Fernandez-Versini.
She had got the tattoo after her 2006 marriage to footballer Ashley Cole and would, understandably, be keen to obliterate all reminders of her former spouse.
Madame Tussauds does, as procedure, monitor all of its featured stars' looks and style changes, altering them as they change.
The Cheryl waxwork was originally unveiled in 2010, however in the big reveal she wore a short skirt that showed a snaking ink design on her thighs that had apparently not been declared to sculptors.
A 2011 redesign of the figure saw her garbed in a purple top and orange skirt with long, flowing locks that immediately became out of date within days after she chopped it into a blonde bob to mark her 28 birthday.
