Sahil Khan said he’s prepared to release “intimate” photographs of himself and an alleged former female acquaintance to prove he is not a homosexual.

The Bollywood actor is currently the subject of a legal complaint in India made by producer Ayesha Shroff, who claims that Khan swindled her out of a significant amount of money.

However, Khan has countered her claim by asserting that he and Shroff, who is the wife of director Jackie Shroff, had an affair, and that she spent the money herself while they were together.

Her riposte? They can’t have had an affair, she alleges, because Khan is gay.

Homosexuality is currently against the law in India since it was was re-criminalised in 2013, following the re-instatement of an outdated Colonial Penal Code.

Khan’s lawyers have since requested that the court holds “an in-camera trial to reveal the truth” about the alleged affair, the actor was quoted as saying in Mid-Day .

“Because there are some intimate pictures of me and Ayesha which we have to show,” he adds.

“Ayesha has said so many things about me - that I am gay and that we did not have physical relations - and she has left me no choice but to take all these things to the public,” he further claims.

The case was recently adjourned until 16 January, and Khan’s lawyers are currently fighting for him to be granted bail until the court date.

A new report now claims that Shroff intends to file a new police complaint against Khan following his tabloid interview, although this is yet to be confirmed by Shroff herself.
