Ashton Kutcher is finding out that society is still behind the times when it comes to accommodating new dads.

The actor, who has a baby daughter with actress Mila Kunis, took to his official Facebook page to bemoan the lack of changing facilities in men's public toilets.

"There are NEVER diaper changing stations in men's public restrooms. The first public men's room that I go into that has one gets a free shout out on my FB page! ‪#‎BeTheChange," the Two and a Half Men star wrote.

His comment was praised by his online followers, who related their own experiences of struggling to find changing facilities.

One Facebook user wrote: "I would love it as a mom if there was diaper changing stations in men's restrooms! Whenever we go anywhere my husband always gets out of diaper changes because there isn't any in the men's restrooms!"

And another wrote:‬ "My husband finds the same issue! It's very discouraging for women expecting their husbands to be that dad when society thinks it's above and beyond for a dad to do so. Love this share from someone with such influence on others."

However, other users said that they had not encountered the problem. One wrote: "Gay parent of a daughter here. I've never had a problem finding a changing station, and that was 13 years ago when she was born."

Some listed the names of restaurants and stores where facilities were available for both mothers and fathers to use.

Kutcher and Kunis' daughter, Wyatt Isobelle, was born in October. Soon after the couple bought every single website domain name, opened a Twitter account, an Instagram account and even set up an email for their daughter, in order to keep the monopoly on her name to protect her future privacy.
