The Rev Walter Goundry, Vicar, St Bartholomew, Long Benton: to be also an Honorary Canon of Newcastle Cathedral (Newcastle).

The Rev Martin Harrison, Assistant Curate, Heworth Team Ministry: to be Priest-in-charge, Skelton with Shipton and Newton-on-Ouse (York).

The Rev Thomas Jamieson, Priest-in-charge, united benefice of Ryton with Hedgefield: to be also Rural Dean of Gateshead West (Durham).

The Rev Alistair Kaye, Assistant Curate, St John, Great Horton (Bradford): to be Assistant Curate, Rushden St Mary and St Peter with Newton Bromswold (Peterborough).

The Rev Robert Lawrance, Lecturer, St Peter, Bolton-Le-Moors: to be Vicar, St John with St Mark, Bury (Manchester).

The Rev Richard LeRossignol, permission to officiate East Charing: to be Honorary Assistant Curate, Brabourne with Smeeth (Canterbury).

The Rev Sheila McLachlan: to be Parish Deacon-in-charge, Kingsnorth and Shadoxhurst (Canterbury).

RESIGNATIONS and RETIREMENTS

Canon Norman Baldock, incumbent, Margate St John (Canterbury): to retire as from June 1994.

The Rev John Ives, Team Vicar, Great Ilford, St Clement (Chelmsford): to resign as from 22

February.

The Rev Michael McCreadie, Vicar, St John the Evangelist, Carlinghow, Batley (Wakefield): to resign as from 27 February.

The Rev Peter Wood, Vicar, Ricall (York): to take early retirement at, or shortly after Easter 1994.

The Rev James Woodhouse, Vicar, East Coatham (York): to retire as from 9 April.
